According to customs statistics, in 2024, China's frozen fruit exports reached 166000 tons, with an export value of 260 million US dollars and an average unit price of 1574 US dollars per ton. Compared with 2023, the quantity increased by 39.5%, the export value increased by 27.5%, and the average unit price decreased by 8.6%.
In 2024, China's frozen fruits will be exported to 91 countries and regions around the world, with Russia being the largest market, accounting for 19.3% of the total export volume and 18.2% of the total export value, nearly doubling the export quantity.
In 2024, there are 21 provinces and cities in China that export frozen fruits, with Shandong ranking first in terms of exports, accounting for 57.2% of the total export volume and 53.6% of the total export value.
Import situation
According to customs statistics, in 2024, China imported 172000 tons of frozen fruits, with an import value of 960 million US dollars and an average unit price of 5593 US dollars per ton. Compared with 2023, the import of frozen fruits decreased by 14%, 18.8%, and 5.6% respectively, marking the first decline in frozen fruit imports in recent years.
In 2024, China will import frozen fruits from 22 countries and regions around the world, with Thailand accounting for 55.9% of the total import volume and 67.6% of the total import value, followed by Malaysia, Egypt and other places.
In 2024, there are 23 provinces and cities in China that import frozen fruits, with Zhejiang Province ranking first, accounting for 27.4% of the total import volume and 32% of the total import value, followed by Guangdong Province, Shandong Province and other places.
